The importance of music is unspoken because everyone has their own reason to appreciate it.
“Have some composure and where is your posture?” This song excerpt is very relatable to any kid because it is basically saying that you’re supposed to be composed and perfect, but you’re actually not. In this particular song, the meaning behind this lyric is that a woman was having a wedding and she’s supposed to be perfect and composed, but instead she shoots her friend. Models are meant to be perfect, and this model is cracking.

I understand that country music is a whole culture, but not to me. One thing about songs is that if you really listen to the lyrics of a song, you can start to relate to it. Kurt Cobain, late lead singer of Nirvana, wrote many beautiful songs like, “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” I’ve listened to this song over and over, but I’ve never figured out the meaning of it. Some things in life are too good to be true, and music is one of those things. Some people believe in Jesus Christ. Some believe in Rock and Roll! Obviously, I believe in Jesus, but Brendon Urie, who used to be a Mormon, believes in the religion of Rock and Roll. I don’t understand a lot of things in this world, but I have to believe in something, so I choose Jesus. Brendon Urie chooses to believe something different and every time something tragic happens in his life, he turns to the thing he loves-Rock and Roll. Another thing I figured out about music is that I can learn a timeline by humming it to the tune of any song. In conclusion, music is an outlet for people to express themselves.
