Face Sheet:
She has an Italian, German, and Irish ancestry. is charged with 120 days in jail and community service at a women’s shelter. Also. 120 hours at the morgue in Los Angeles. However, due to overcrowding so she was sentenced to house arrest and an ankle monitor. She had other serious offences however none that she was charged for that has any relation to this crime.
The Offence:
The charges for the crime is felony of grand theft since the neckless which has been claimed to be stolen by Lindsey Lohan. When she was given an option to be bailed out she payed $40,000. The charge, however; is now only considered a misdemeanor. She rejected a plea deal, so that she may fight the charge. Consequently, at the same jewelry store she tried …show more content…

The reason why is because she told law officials that Lohan put the neckless in her purse even though the video shows that the young actress walked out with it on her neck.
Acceptance of Responsibility:
No, she does not accept responsibility she claims that it was a gift, therefore; she is pleading no contest.
Criminal History:
In 2007 she was arrested for suspicions of driving under the influence. Also, that same year she was caught driving under the influence, having a suspended license while driving, and having narcotics in her possession. She violated her parole a variety of times.
Offender Characteristic:
She was a model and worked as a teen actress. Father was an investment banker and ran the family business which was making pasta. Also, her mother was an analyst. She was found on two separate occasions with cocaine. She was still attending school such as Cold spring harbor, however; her life got so hectic that she started to get home schooled. Lindsey is suffering effects of a virus that was transmitted from a mosquito. Lohan suffers from Narcissistic Personality Disorder

This is a humongous probably especially if the victim had to hire their own lawyers to protect what is rightfully theirs. Lohan should have to compensate the victim because she had taken a neckless that is worth $2,50. The actress caused this woman to lose out on money due to her crime. It may not have harmed the victim, however; the victim lost out on money for her business. I believe that every day that necklace was not in the rightful owner’s hand then Lohan should have to pay the days that she had the necklace along with paying court fees which would be considered offender
