This was a quote was said by Alan Canfora who was a survivor. Alan was shot on May 4th, 1970 at the Kent State massacre("The). The Ohio National Guard came to Kent State University because the students there were holding an anti-war rally(PUBLISHED).

Is it possible to ever catch me eating roadkill? Probably not, but some things Buhler state seem to make sense. In the passage “On Eating Roadkill”, Buhler makes effective use of ethos, pathos, and logos to get his argument across.

The Colorado Coal Strikers of 1913-1914 endured harsh living conditions, disease, and oppression in order to better their lives. To resume work, the Rockefellers, who owned the mines, hired gunmen to compel miners to stop the strike, accept poor lifestyles, and get back to work. One of the major events of this strike was the The Ludlow Massacre, where miners and their families were massacred in a garish show of power. The Ludlow Massacre was the Rockefellers’ doing.
The Ox-Bow incident is a classic western film that follows a posse that includes a deputy, is out to get those involved in a shooting. They come across a group and suspect them as the shooters and must decide what to do. While watching the Ox-Bow incident a question comes to mind, who is responsible enforcing human rights? I say everyone, but who is everyone? It could be as simple as saying law enforcement should and those who are here to protect and serve this country, but this answer cannot be so simple without their being questions like, does law enforcement even defend human rights?

After leaving Arkansas,the fancher party traveled west Nebraska territory before entering utah territory.

April 16, 2007, started as a normal day. Virginia Tech students rushed to their classrooms to avoid being late, but little did they know the tragedy that was going to take place that dreadful day. Shortly after 10:00am 32 students lives had been taken by one of their fellow classmates. After the shooter ruthlessly shot and killed each one, he took his own life. April 16 will forever be recognized as a day of mourning and remembrance, but also as a day where we come together as a nation and overcome the defying odds we were left with.

Dust Bowl and Economics of the 1930s The Dust Bowl was a very desperate and troublesome time for America. The southwestern territories were in turmoil due to the arid effect of the drought causing no fertile soils. As the rest of America was being dragged along with the stock market crash and higher prices of wheat and crops since the producing areas couldn't produce. This was a streak of bad luck for the Americans as they were in a deep despair for a quite some time.
Recently Owen Aerts has been hunting. Owen had shot a 6 point buck. He went hunting to manage the deer population in Lakewood Wisconsin where there was a lot of deer hunters out in the woods on that day ,but Owen got a buck. A lot of people just went out in the woods and sat next to a tree.
Slap, whip, abuse. This is what comes to mind when people think of when it comes to livestock. This assumption is misleading and inaccurate because this is only showing the bad side to what actually goes on. The livestock industry is viewed as immoral and inhumane but in reality, we do so much more good than bad but the truth is being kept away. In the industry we care for the livestock, we provide for whatever they need, and simply, it’s a lifestyle.
Most people my age have a passion for playing sports, but my passion in life is a little different than most. I grew up living on a farm and being around cattle ever since I could walk has been apart of my life, which brought me to one of the reasons why I have a passion for showing cattle. People often wonder why I love showing cattle so much and what the point of it is, but there are so many reasons why I have grown the love for it. There is just something special about the feeling of your heart racing when you walk into the show ring or the handshake from the judge telling you that all your hard work has payed off.
