SETTING DETAILS The setting in The Cracked World will be real places and times which will expand through an 18-month calendar. My place is Lake Mary, Florida the suburbs of Orlando Florida; it is a place in my novel that I am familiar with and will be able to describe with accurate details. Being that many of the events that happened in my book are real and this is a realistic form of fiction I believe that it is the ideal setting. In additional, the contrast between the grief that Angela will go experience and the ever-shining sun in Florida can aid in her regaining optimism. Additionally, I have created a detailed outline that will give me a guided format for each specific chapter. The outline is currently calling for 27 chapters, and I know that this may change as I work through the writing process. This will enable me to explore more details and to write an excellent effectively piece of realistic fiction. I will also include additional characters, namely the protagonist, Angela’s sisters, counselor, and other secondary characters that will move Angela during her journey. I will also dig deeper into the relationship between Angela and Max and how it changes after the loss of their son. And the relationship between Angela and Cassandra. In the beginning, their relationship is complex and arduous; however, it changes after she loses the baby. The loss of the baby changes Angela, and she develops a closer bond with her sisters. I will incorporate the changes of the weather in Orlando, Florida and how it will relate to the up and down disposition, Angela will experience. I will also connect the characters with nature that will symbolize hope and perseverance, which are the driving theme of my story.
