All the characters in my essay faced challenges, overcame challenges, and received ideas. Ernesto Galarza, Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, and John Steinbeck conquered all their objections and accomplished newer things. Ernesto Galarza's motivation is to learn English to teach his family how to speak it. Rikki-Tikki-Tavi's motivation is his family to stay alive. John Steinbeck's motivation is the outside world. Galarza, Rikki-Tikki, and Steinbeck accomplish their goals with a little motivation and time and some mistakes but they learned from their mistakes. In the book, Ernesto Galarza leaves Mazatlan to go to America to learn English at school. He wasn't used to that lifestyle and that language so he has to adjust. The father and the daughter saw Rikk-Tikki and thought he was dead but the mother and the son knew he was still alive and cold. They took him inside to warm up and a couple minutes later he was exploring the whole house and he was friendly to the family because they rescued him. He went to the yard and saw a bird crying and he siad said,"why so sad," and the bird said because of that cobra Nag he ate one of my eggs. He saw Nag and he was about to attack the other egg and Rikki-Tikki fought back and Nag backed off. Everyday and night Rikki-Tikki is keeping a look out for Nag and Nagaina. Rikki-Tikki's mission was to keep the family safe from danger and to kill Nag, Nagaina, and the eggs. What motivated him to take care of his family and to kill Nag, Nagaina, and the eggs was the families lives. He knew he was almost done with his mission by killing Nag and Nagaina's eggs and that made Nagaina mad and insane. Then, he killed Nagaina by going underground with Nagaina by holding on to her tail and then he killed her. What he learned was that he didn't know that he had a lot of
