“You weren’t an accident. You weren’t mass-produced. You aren’t an assembly-line product. You were deliberately planned, specifically gifted, and lovingly positioned on the Earth by the Master Craftsman.” – Max Lucado. Max Lucado is a Christian pastor and author who strongly believes and supports creation. Creationists (people who support the theory of creation), believe that God created and designed humans, the Earth, the Universe, and much more! People accept the theory as fact with thorough research, strong evidence, and the Bible to act as a guide. Creation is an acceptable and reasonable theory for three reasons: it can be supported by scientific evidence, nature, and history. People often think that science and the theory of creation …show more content…
Just by taking a walk outside and exploring nature, can help you find proof that leads you to believe in a creator. The Grand Canyon, for example, contains a fair amount of evidence that supports creationism. Many evolutionists have had trouble coming up with a reason that explains how the Grand Canyon was made, that can support their theory of evolution. Some believe that over millions of years, the Colorado River was slowly eroding the canyon into formation. Other evolutionists claim that enlarged streams or gullies that passed through it made the formation of the Grand Canyon. However, these two theories fail to explain reasonably where the outcome of the millions of years of water erosion went. The Bible, on the other hand, gives a rational explanation. In Genesis 6:17, God talks to a man named Noah, and says, “I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish”. Many creationists believe that the Grand Canyon could’ve been carved out during the flood that God sent. The Grand Canyon has different sedimentary layers that show evidence of fast and rapid erosion instead of slow and gradual erosion along the rocks. This supports the idea of the flood, since the flood pressed on for about forty days and
