Baghdad International Airport, Iraq.
Technically the war was over in Iraq, but the United States Air Force was still conducting combat landings and takeoffs which were grueling on the human body. There were currently only the five of them on the C-141 Starlifter, it was very spacious. The Major ordered the four men to remain inside the aircraft, that he wouldn’t be gone long. The Major was true to his word, within thirty minutes, the Major was spotted in an open Humvee on his way back to the aircraft and he wasn’t alone. With him was what looked like another Airman, all they could tell was that he had brown hair which was closely cropped.
