Chapter two: genesis I woke up three days later, in my house. Jones had told me that he carried me though the gunfire back into the house. “What happened?” my friend Alex asked. I told him all I could remember, and he was satisfied. The military came in and told me that I saved many lives. I knew that this was a lie, and Jones did too. But we just bowed, and they left. “we need to get out of this place” I said. “Yeah” jones said. So, me and jones came up with a plan: to sneak into the Demilitarized zone and to have civilians create a diversion. We called it: operation genesis. We planned to do it tonight. At 9:00 we went outside to get the plan in overdrive. “ I hope this works” jones said “ yeah”. “Me too” I said. It was settled. We are going to get out. “ who’s there” the first one said. “Shh” the second one said. We got past them and into the outpost. A helicopter flew by the outpost and a drone followed. “What was that thing?” Jones asked. “looked like some sort of gunship” I said. “A gunship?” Jones said. “Why”? “I don’t know” I said as jones picked the lock to the military garage. “Get in” I said. By the time the civilians were out, it was time for the military to come back. They got in and we burst through the front gate and the military started chasing us. “ run!” I said as a kid named James fell out of the vehicle. “More cars behind us” jones yelled.
