It was during their exercise period. They said he just broke into a blind raving charge at the fence and started climbing over. Right in front of them–” After being interrupted, he says, “Oh yes, the guards called to him to stop. They fired a few shots in the air, then to kill. They got him just as he went over the fence.
Before everything started unsuspected, the fight, Travyon was talking to a friend name Rachel Jeantel. Trayvon was saying to Rachel that some man was watching him and was being followed. Jeantel was asking him to describe how the person looks like, but it was too late. She could hear him suffering from hearing punching noise, the wet noise she mentions about. She could even hear a noise from Zimmerman’s voice, but after that the phone shut off and could hear anything.
The speaker for the night terror informational speech had poor stage presence. Her clothing was extremely casual and she kept constantly swaying back and forth throughout the speech. The introduction did not clearly lay out what all her speech would cover, but she did relate it to the audience. Her over all casualness made the speech lose its professionalism and may lead to some of the audience questioning her credibility.
Still in a haze from his sleep, he tries to decide where to point his gun. There’s so much smoke and commotion he fails to see the
The devastation behind the soldier stood on the edge of his mind, but nevertheless was not in his thoughts. The man standing in front of him dominated his thoughts and instigated a war deep within the soldier. The man was plain on all accounts; he was middle-aged, wore glasses, had a receding hairline, but his image was now stained in the soldier’s memory. This man merely wanted to get by, most likely to confirm the death of a loved one, but no matter how many times the soldier thought about it, he would never know exactly why. The only knowledge that burdened the soldier was his duty, and his duty was to keep this man at bay.
Criticism of Technology in “The Martian Chronicles” Ray Bradbury, an author from the Cold War time period, wrote when technology was rapidly advancing because of threats made back and forth by America and Russia . As a result of this paranoia, technology was advanced out of fear rather than a will for innovation, causing man to create weapons with destructive power that, if used, could destroy the world many times over. Bradbury warns of the dangers that come with creating technology ignorantly and out of fear. Using the anthology “The Martian Chronicles”, Bradbury criticizes man’s ignorance and inability to adapt through their rapid advances in technology, which are used as a response to cover up flaws and nullify the need for change.
what is it that makes us feel the need to escape? Today was a totally different day; for the first time the sky wasn't pitch black covered with smoke everywhere, and there was no noise coming from the fighter jets, or guns, there were people repairing the broken up houses and filling up the trenches that were once considered useless to fix. For the first time in a very long time old Jenking's bar was open, and there was noise of partying and laughter coming from there. "This could mean only one thing; the war was finally over" The war that took away so many lives, the war that separated people living on the same grounds with just a painted white boundary was finally over. "This meant I could finally cross that line and I could explore

That was during the hour that I was the most confused and mixed the real deaths of the soldiers with that of an imaginary private. He died in a story about WWI. Thirty-six years have passed since I stood in that darkness, which was mitigated by an outside light. Tonight, I remember the silence I shared with the dead. I rise and face my life for no other reason than I was young once like those I stood guard over, and for them who died for God knows what, I wish to give back the year 1971 along with the clouds, the rain, and the dampness, soaking my boots.
In the opening of his speech, he started it off by using antithesis by referring to the way of life for the American citizens, their very freedom, and ended the sentence with how their freedom was under attack in “A series of deliberate and deadly terrorist acts.” In the following sentence, he starts to name off the victims, with the following line “Thousands of lives were suddenly ended by evil, despicable acts of terror.” This shows that he is showing sympathy for all of the innocent lives lost. He continued and explained how the victims “Were in airplanes or in the offices, secretaries, businessmen and women, military and federal workers. Moms and Dads, Friends and neighbors.”

By giving the speech, President Bush, leader of the free world, and a super power at that, an enemy to the nation will be named. Someone will have to be held accountable and brought to justice.
