I am currently reading the book, Creepypasta, a story filled with chilling horror stories, such as the one I am going to question, visualize, and evaluate today, the terrifying story Come Closer. “…So his mere presence felt threatening…” (Clovdtears 13). Firstly I will be questioning about whom this mysterious man is that the kids talk about, secondly I will visualize several different areas in the story, and lastly I will evaluate the story. To begin with I am questioning whom the man is that the kids are talking about. In the story it says that they had seen the ominous man on their way home from school, and they even made a close encounter once. They also say that he looks disturbed and dirty. I ask myself this, who is this man and why does he stare at the buses when they go by, and why does he hang around the bus stops for children? Could this man possibly be a kidnapper? I want to know why he is staring at the buses and watching the children. Towards the end of the story, the kids are hiding under the porch to keep away from the man, and it said there was a dead kid in front of them, which was one of the kids from the bus stop, that the man had killed. “…Trying not to feel the glassy stare of Danny’s severed head as it rested in the grass a foot away” (Clovdtears 13). After reading this, I visualized in a way that I was there, under that porch seeing my dead friend right in front of me. Putting this into words, I could feel myself, squeezed tight underneath the porch, surrounded by dirt, the other boy next to me, both of us in utter terror. Right in front of us, no more than a few feet away, we are directly staring right into our dead friends eyes. His pale face struck with the unmoving expression, his glassy eyes staring straight at us,
