The relationship between critical thinking and ethics

Critical thinking is a way of thinking it is the process of analyzing, applying, and evaluating information with problem solving abilities. Critical thinking greatly improves a person’s thinking. This is the process that will determine whether the outcome of a problem is right or wrong. The critical thinking process is the mindset to make effective decisions based upon verified and truthful information. The steps to critical thinking are remembering, understanding, applying, analyzing, evaluating and creating. Remembering is recalling the facts of the event. Dividing the situation into parts or steps is the analyzing step. Evaluating is the step you need to rate the usefulness, truth, or equalities of the situation. Creating in the critical thinking process is the last event this is the process needed to invent something for the successful outcome based on my ideas. These are all the strategies that are in demand to have a successful outcome to an event using critical thinking. Having a critical approach is very meaningful in my opinion. I use critical thinking skills on a daily basis; critical thinking skills benefit me with finding the necessary information I need to problem solve. I try to analyze the situation before I react. Serious critical thinking skills are needed to self-learn. I have always been a great judge of character and constantly use critical thinking skills to support myself although there is room for self-improvement. The Ethical Lens Inventory is a tool to guide a person to strengthen their reading skills. My weakness or blind spot continues to be expanding my vocabulary. I have always had a weakness with compare and contrasting words. Muscle reading is a test on the ELI; this is a test that will aid to read actively and to stay engaged. I am a valuable reader especially if the material deems interesting the muscle reading is my preferred ethical lens thus
