Introduction: “One isn't necessarily born with courage, but one is born with potential." Without courage, we cannot practice any other virtue with consistency. We cannot be kind, true, merciful, generous, or honest.” The wisdom purported by Maya Angelou urges one to embrace courage through knowledge, unlocking the path to many horizons. Today the perceptions of yesterday are gone, and the evolution of society has conglomerated into a mosaic of culturally rich children. The various cultures and languages within just one school offer a brief glimpse into the strength and complexity of our global world. Educators should foster an environment that embraces the cultural identity of students through learning. Culturally Responsive Sustaining Framework is a student-centered approach prioritizing diversity, equity, and inclusion. As a result, a supportive learning environment initiated by educators, encourages learners to actively engage, critically assess, and excel academically. Students, like leaves, need the light of community to blossom. Teachers cultivate this light through rapport and respect building, allowing students to share strengths, and flourish together. Plants require the right amount of light to flourish, just as students need proper guidance to thrive. Excessive discipline can hinder their progress. H. Richard Milner IV explains in "Culturally Responsive Classroom Management" that an overemphasis on discipline can do more harm than good (H. Richard Milner IV, 2018). A Culturally Responsive Sustaining Framework allows teachers to shift their focus away from merely responding to misbehavior. Instead, teachers address the underlying mechanisms of misbehavior through Culturally Responsive
