Frankenstein became obsessed with creating life from an early age. He had a great curiosity of creating life and thought it would be good for the world if he could find a way to create life or cheat death. In the book Frankenstein, Victor said, “Curiosity, earnest research to learn the hidden laws of nature, gladness akin to rapture, as they were unfolded to me, are among the earliest sensations I can remember" (pg 49-50).
