The 6-17 Attack Reconnaissance Squadron Battalion Commander has requested a Knowledge Management Working Group (KMWG) consisting of Commissioned and Warrant Officers to find a resolution to an Aviator printed versus Electronic Flight Bag. Upon initial observations, the Commander has concluded that the unit is spending more money on printed publications than using a digital solution. The squadron-working group has conducted an internal review of these options, which have identified the processes cost and effectiveness of both courses of action. This process consisted of group forums, individual worker interviews, and a squadron staff assembly to complete the overall guideline assessment.
On June 1st, 1999, the American Airlines Flight 1420 was on its way to the Little Rock National Airport. The American Airlines Flight 1420’s pilot was considered a very experienced pilot with more than 10,000 total flight hours. The airplane that was used during the flight is a McDonnell Douglas DC-9-82 (MD-82) (NTSB, 2001). The airplane was supposed to land just 10 minutes before midnight. The airplane touched the ground according to the schedule, however the airplane failed to stop before the end of the runway.
Year round school benefit is for a child not to have a lapse in learning or remembering what they’ve learned. That’s when the parents or guardians need’s to step in to continue educational learning. Teachers alone can’t be responsible for the education others need to play their part. Just because summer vacation has started doesn’t mean learning should have stopped. Since year round schooling isn’t what’s normal adjusting could be difficult.
Being an active member within my school community is something that has always been of importance to me. During my time at the University of Rhode Island (URI), I have been heavily involved in many organizations and have held different leadership roles all while excelling in my academics. Since my time at URI I have been a consecutive member of the Dean’s List with a GPA of 3.83. Although I am very passionate about my academics, it is my involvements and leadership roles that make my time so enjoyable. I am s second year Resident Advisor as well as a second year URI 101 Mentor.
This investigation has allowed me to gain insight as to how historians utilize different methods, as well as challenges that they may face, when carrying out historical investigations. I feel that I have developed stronger skills of interpreting history, and have gained immense historical knowledge about a topic I would not otherwise learn about. In order to carry out the historical investigation, I read multiple books by historians of different ethnicities and origins, particularly from the Eastern Pacific region, I researched the chronological timeline of comfort stations, and I analyzed interpretations of events, all of which are methods often used by historians. It adds to costs, is harder to bring about, and worst of all, it takes away a huge portion of our much-allocated summer vacation. Sybil is a movie based on a real person. She was abused and mistreated by her Mother. When experiencing the traumatizing events that took place throughout her childhood Sybil started creating personalities for each horrific or memorizing event. For example Peggy Lou Baldwin was one of the personalities Sybil’s created to cope with the anger and sadness she was feeling when her mother punished her for doing something that she didn’t do. Sybil had a very challenging life she would black out and not remember anything.
I believe that I am more than prepared to take on EH 102. I will take everything I’ve learned from this course and apply it to the next
I am currently an undergraduate at Rowan College at Gloucester County completing my pre-nursing studies. As I was growing up, I always enjoyed the idea of helping and healing others. My inspiration to become a nurse was watching my mother make a difference in the lives of elderly at a local senior living community as an Activities Assistant for years. Even though, she was unable to go back to school due to personal circumstances, the compassion she showed towards others around her was something special as she took care of them as if they were relatives. Whenever I had free time, I would just sit and play a game with the elderly residents hearing their life stories from when they were young.
