Danae's Perseus: A Greek Hero

Just like nearly any other hero in the Greek mythology world Perseus' life was a very interesting one, full of adventures. He was the son of the god Zeus and Danae. His reputation and character quickly turned him into a local hero of Argos. However, his life wasn’t just a smooth one, I where he had two caring parents who never left. In reality long before Perseus was out of his mom, Danae’s womb, there was more to the story of his birth. It started with the mighty Zeus, who had an eye that he had already spotted in the cave where Danae was held in a chamber. During their coalition, Danae gave birth to a baby boy that she managed to keep a secret from her father, King of Akrisos. Who he was destined to be killed by a son if his daughter, which caused him to lock Danae in the chamber. For qutie some time she kept her birth of Perseus a secret from him because the reason behind her dad locking her in the chamber is to not get impregnated. Why a chamber? It’s sad to think why Danae has to hide her son from her father, whereas most fathers today hope their child to one day have a child. In my opinion, if anyone in Danae’s shoes, it would probably the worst experience ever. I find it crucial how King Acrisius, send Danae and her child in a wooden ark. Since, this was taken “effect” a long time ago, he was likely not going to get punished for what he had done. On the other hand, imagine this happening right now in the twenty-first century. I can’t even envision hearing this on the news or even what would happen to him. Therefore, after Perseus’ success after he had grown up to be hero, I wonder if his grandfather regret and remorse of why he didn’t accept Danae having Perseus at
