Comment on your own performance. How did it go? What could have gone better?

Overall, I think my group and I executed a successful final performance on stage. I think we communicated the theme of our dance to our audience very well by using the five elements of dance (relationship, body, energy, space, and time) effectively. Throughout the performance, there were aspects of the dance that were showcased excellently, as well as, aspects that needed some improvement for further future performances. After practicing for a very long time, and working very hard over our dance, my group and I united on the stage once more to perform our dance, but this time, something clicked. During our dress rehersal, we had an issue that need to be resolved with spacing at the beginning of our dance. After given advice from our teacher about this section, my team members and I went back and re-choreographed a part from our dance to make sure that our spacing is impeccable, and that we always keep the centre throughout our dance. Another aspect that was greatly improven during our culminating performance was the use of emotion and the right type of energy in our dance. When performing our piece on dress rehersal day, we had a problem with carrying out the correct facial expression to match the role we played in our dance. However, this was resolved when my group and I sat down with one another, and discussed the story of our dance, and practiced our facial expressions, so not only would they all match in terms of mood, but they would also match our actual theme. Lastly, my group members and I developed a very strong relationship and connection with one another when dancing on stage, and performing our piece. We learned how to trust one another, and we were all aware that we were dependent of one another, which is why when we came out onto the stage, we all did our absolute best, which greatly increased our success rate. My group and I have to keep on practicing, rehearsing, and cleaning our dance to make sure that all of our movements are one hundred percent clean and sharp. We have to keep practicing so we can continue to execute the correct emotion and body language of our character throughout the dance. We need to keep practing to maintain the spacing of our dance, and work on the timing as well. There is still work needed to be done, and I am determined, along with my team members to get it done, so at Dance Night, our group will be even more successful than
