The "Dark Ages" is not a suitable term for the Medieval Ages. The term “Dark Ages” makes many people think of corrupt and evil times, which is a period of intellectual darkness and economic regression for a certain location. It makes you think of loathing and bereavement, but the “Dark Ages” was practically the total opposite of that. It was a joyful time for many people. The “Dark Ages” is also referred to as the Middle Ages.
It is said that the "Dark Ages" was a time of intellectual depression for Europe. In other words, people were not very educated, and very little innovation had come around from this age.
