Datavast, Inc. is an Information Technology company based in China, specializing in the design, manufacture and selling of cloud storage products. Cloud storage products are a form of data storage devices. “Data storage devices allowed users to store digital files in a secondary location in order to prevent the loss of important information. Such devices came in many forms, depending on the needs of the user” (Hao 2012). The different forms of data storage included compact discs (CDs), portable external hard drives, Universal Serial Bus (USB) drives, cloud storage (public and private), and integrated backup systems. Datavast, Inc uses cloud storage products to store large amounts of digital data from companies varying from small business enterprises to larger companies. This is relatively a new concept of data storage and supersedes the traditional methods of data storage such as compact disks, USB flash drive, portable external hard drive, etc. Winston Hao, the founder and general manager of Datavast, Inc. worked in telecommunications for over 10 years. Hao did a complete research across the market of cloud solution and found that there are larger companies which have been following adopted integrated cloud solution opportunity. However, in China, there were few other traditional practices to save the data by ensuring the security like; in CDs, hard drives, public cloud, private cloud, disks, and few other similar type
