Mary Mebane recalls as freshmen was stopped by the chairman’s wife because of how well Mary scored on her verbal examination compared to the white people at her school. She knows that the chairman 's wife thought it was a fluke and she speaks to her, but Mebane knows that this is out of an act of racism. Mebane then shows African people how their people are just viewed as numbers. She also shows the stereotype how light skin students were smarter people than darker students but what was even worse to the eyes of the school is that she is a dark- skinned woman. She continues to target African women with the example of her friend Lucy which was a, “Dark Dark skinned” girl that chose to hang around a light skin girl named Patricia.

A new coach to Chaska is a familiar face for girls basketball, former Chaska Athena triathlete Ellen Degler is this year’s JV girls basketball coach. Ellen Degler is a Chaska Alumni, a previous player for the Chaska Hawks girls basketball team. Her high school experience was one to remember. Degler said that she was blessed with a lot of opportunity in high school, and those opportunities brought her and her team success.
This article written by Allie Bidwell is about the class of 2013 and how much debt they incurred while at college. The average student loan debt for this class is $28,400. Bidwell states that this number isn’t all that accurate due to the low numbers of colleges that report their numbers. Cathy Ames has been criticized because she is completely evil. It has expressed throughout the novel that Cathy is inhuman. She has no emotion, no feelings, and no good in her. Many state that she is a symbol for Satan or a witch, who is pawn of Satan. People go so far in declaring that she is one of these evil spirits because even from birth she was filled with extreme evil and darkness, lacking characteristic that make up a human.

Gabriella Montez’s primary stereotype is the “nerd.” The first time Gabriella is seen, she is reading a book. This is a common indication used throughout the film industry that leads viewers to make the assumption that the character in question is introverted and intelligent. When Gabriella transfers to a new school, it is made clear that she is in fact academically talented. She is referred to as a “freaky genius girl” and “an Einsteinette.”
Alicia Wilson is and special education teacher that I have known for a year through subbing in the Parkway School District here in St. Louis, MO. She is the lead teacher for all of the staff that services special needs students at Shenandoah Elementary. Her duties not only include supervising those teachers but also leading IEP meeting and communicating plans for special needs children. Starting off my questions, Wilson described a stakeholder during an IEP meeting are the people that fill the room. This group includes the school administration, parents, the school board of education, teachers, and even the student themselves.
Amy Tan’s “Two Kinds,” written in 1989, captures the relationship of a mother and daughter from China that has just relocated to America. Firstly ,Elena Vilkas. A selfless, hardworking, fearless mother who installed strength and determination to those around her who may not have survived without. Also known for her unselfishness which she exhibited in many situations of the novel. For example,when Elena gave up her bread ration to a starving boy who was already dead but had his hand outstretched as if he was asking for food. The incredible thing about it was that she herself was also very sick and that bit of food could’ve ended up being very critical between life or death.
