In America today crime is knocking at everyone’s door. It has no perspective of person, race, or creed but it is especially noticeable in the minority culture. Crime has always and will always be a major issue in the world today regardless of the many attempts to control and reduce the statistics.
Crime can range from littering to theft, fraud to embezzlement, and child abuse to murder. Not to mention all the many small things that may fall between each category. At one point I thought that crime was only done by a certain type of person but having the ability to do the research I see that everyone is a part of this massive label.

From school age children to the elderly, being a victim yourself it can be passed on without even knowing what you are doing. Many child abuse cases are a product of being abused at some point during their lives by a parent or another person. Also, theft often starts during younger years as a result of lack of material things other children may have. But either way it all falls in the category of crime and if caught the label of criminal will then follow you. Children are labeled as a “Bad child” or “Troubled Kid” in their toddler years and because of this they may feel this is all they will ever be. A person trying to defend themselves or protect their property can be caught up in this category of crime. Regardless to the degree of murder you will be labeled as a criminal for the rest of your life. A murder charge can cause again the most respected person to be banned from what they have considered to be a normal life. Because it is so easy to gain access to a weapon, the first response to danger is to shoot first ask questions later. Leaving it up to a court to decide if there should be some reprimand for the offense, may grant justification of a crime.
