What is love? There are multiple meanings behind the word love. As a noun the dictionary says an intense feeling of deep affection, a person or thing that one loves, it even means a score of zero; nil. For verb it has it down as feel a deep romantic or sexual attachment to someone. There is no wrong answer to that question. Love is the thing that somebody accepts it will be. My definition of love is a feeling that is not easily describable. It 's not only powerful, but eternal to. Ann Lander thinks "Love is friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weakness." Who is to say what the real interpretation of love is?

Scientist believe love is also a complicated thing to describe. They can conclude that it is raining by just going outside, or see that a car is moving by seeing the wheels move around, but they …show more content…

Scholars call it a passionate "promise". H. Jackson Brown, Jr. says "love is when the other person 's happiness is more important than your own." This quote reminds me of a story about a couple named Lorraine and Giovani. They were high school sweethearts now they are grandparents, they lived a long happy life together. Until Lorraine found out she was getting Alzheimer 's. They both knew that Lorraine was going to lots of help, but instead of putting her in a nursey home Giovani took care of her. He felt that he had to pay her back for the love and care she gave him all these years.

Lots of people think love is a overrated word, but if you think about it a great deal of movies, songs, books have or is about love in them. Maybe love has a extensive impact and inspiration in our regular exists. If this is so why don 't we have trouble figuring it out? Again love is an internal think and you can 't see it, but you can
