Having a good relationship is also having a good and healthy life. It motivates you to have a good investment for the future not only for your emotional needs but also gives you inspiration to endure the rough road of life. Here are five steps that will lead you to have a successful relationship and end up being together until the end.

1. Take away your pride and ego
In a relationship, argument is always an issue. Why? It’s because of individual differences. The “I DON’T WANT THIS, I WANT THAT. I’M RIGHT AND YOU’RE WRONG” statement makes it worst. Remember that you’re in a relationship not because of self-satisfaction. You don’t have to think only for yourself. Consider your relationship with your partner as a trial marriage, as your family. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Some of us define love by having a romantic date, the intimate feeling, having a caring, gorgeous and handsome partner, financially supportive partner, or a spoiler. These things are the definition of a “not really mature” definition of love. Love is sacrifice. Why? Because love is selfless. It’s not about you yourself, nor for the sake of your own good. Loving your partner simply means “giving all you have to give”, and not “giving what he or she deserves”. Many relationships fail because of a win-win perspective love. Hey, it is not a business stall that you have to buy something with a price. Love is priceless. Treat your partner with humility. Remember that we’re all humans. Whatever makes us happy will lead to positivity. Positivity in life clears our stressful minds to think better. Thinking better makes you a better person.
