Mission Statement
The mission of the 3% deforestation cap per state is to help the abuse of deforestation in the country and to help reduce the air contamination in our country. There are many benefits that trees give us. Our more important are that trees combat climate change, clean the air, provide oxygen, prevent water, pollution, prevent soil erosion, and provide food.The 3% deforestation cap will help all the states to maintain and protect 97% of the trees in a state from being cut or burn for industrial purpose. "A major consideration in many ecosystems is the impact of monoculture forestry that simplifies the ecosystem, leaving it vulnerable to disease and other environmental factors" (EPA, 2015). To better manage the fire plan in case of forest fires.
To ensure the safety of other species and avoid species migration.
To help improve the air quality in the United States.
To recommend the constant monitoring of trees available in all states.
To educate future generation on the importance that trees give us and the environment in our daily lives.
To reduce the illegal logging activities. It is hoped that United States citizens will understand the mission and goals of this recommended future legislation. This will be accomplish by using legislation already in place, new scientific technology, and other information already implemented that is already benefiting trees in our environment. " If I were to introduce a policy to help environmental reduce pollution and stop deforestation I will introduce the 3% deforestation cap every 5 years per state. It will be helpful to also implement these 3% internationally to countries that are abusing deforestation in the rain forest or places that are vital for the environment. "The primary costs associated with planting and maintaining trees or other vegetation include purchasing materials, initial planting, and ongoing maintenance activities such as pruning, pest and disease control, and irrigation" (EPA, 2015).
