As a student at Mountain Heritage High School, I started taking classes as a freshman to learn about architecture, interior designing, and landscape architecture. Second semester of my sophomore year, I wanted to become a Dental Hygienist. I started changing my schedules to classes that would help me in dental hygiene. Thankfully, I took a college class that would ease me into the medical field. It helped me to realize that Dental Hygiene is for me. I started going back to what I was really passionate about, Interior Designing. Living in Florida, the average salary per year would be $47,00 while the average salary in Alaska is $96,280 and $87,540 in California (Dental Hygienist: Salary). They also receive many benefits, like sick leave, vacation, and contributions to their retirement. All states require Dental Hygienist to be licensed. An associate's degree is the most common degree while they can also have a bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Those wanting to become Dental Hygienists should take classes in chemistry, biology, anatomy, and radiography. They make interior spaces functional, safe, pleasing to the eye, and they just make it work. It is made possible by selecting materials and items that fit with the room. Reading blueprints, knowing the building codes, regulations, and inspection regulations are necessary for being an Interior Designer. They work closely with architect, mechanical engineers, and builders to determine how a space will be built, layed out, how it will function, and what it will look like. Some designers produce the plans, drawings, and designs for installation. They can make this possible by free hand drawings, but mostly by CAD (Computer-Aided Design).
