From the days when you used to hang your shingle outside your front door waiting for a new patient to arrive and now we’re in the digital era, dental practice marketing keeps changing as well. I’ve shared several tips on how to market your dental practice effectively and get more dental patients. But today, I’m going to talk about another biggest asset in your dental practice marketing-Yourself. In today’s dental marketing environment, relying on your practice reputation and quality isn’t enough (although they some of the biggest milestones) but sharing your passion too is something that will create a huge impact in your dental office marketing. If you’re passionate about golf, if you woodwork etc, share it. Feel free and share your passion in your newsletter or you website and don’t forget to share how your passion relate with your work. Display your passion in your office. One thing you should never do is to be afraid of what you stand for. Let people know that because you’re a human being and the best thing is to be you. Be human. Let me use my own example as Dr Ginger Bratzel to explain this. Did you know one of my passions is collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia? And the 1947 Coca-Cola 10-foot tall sign which came from Coca-Cola bottling plant in Raton, New Mexico is one of my favorite pieces. This piece has been preserved for more than 50 years and now I got somewhere in my shop where I displayed it. This collection goes back to the family ties and my grandfather who used to operate a gas station in 50’s and 60’s in the same town where I practiced.
