I want to join the profession of dentistry because it allows me to aesthetically and creatively use my hands to fix a patients problem instantly. I have always wanted to join a profession that would allow me to make a difference in one's life and take care of people. My experience during Gateway to Dentistry and interning at dental offices gave me a better understanding about the interactive and hands on qualities of dentistry, as well as the relationships that develop between the dentist and patient.
