The reading of Descartes, Discourse on Method focused on the idea of what is truth? In the reading he wants to find the actual truth where it is certain. Descartes argument is persuasive we can’t that we can’t just look back at history and believe it as “Truth” because it has been tainted history can be biased. If you look for the capital truth it will be insignificant. You cannot disregard certain things because there’s a process that leads you to multiple paths of understanding. The purpose is not to give you an exact process, but much rather it is to give you insight on how to become a better thinker. It takes a lot of discipline and a higher level of knowledge to understand the science of reason.
