Behaviour analysts who are transparent, responsive, and trustworthy are on the right track to becoming trustworthy. A behaviour analyst is transparent when she shows others how she thinks through issues and when she shows others reasons for their decisions. A behaviour analyst shows responsiveness by providing feedback to others to help shape others’ behaviour. A behaviour analyst shows she is trustworthy by performing say-do relationships consistently. It is important for behaviour analysts to become trusted professionals because they will be leaders in their environment. Graduate school comprises of a heavy workload, early mornings, late nights, and busy days. If I look use a behavioural approach to evaluate some of my stress, I would start by pinpointing the behaviour. The behaviour I was experiencing was stress related to graduate school. I would then conducted a functional analysis to find some of the antecedents and consequences causing my stress. Some antecedents and consequences were an abundance of work, loss of sleep, lack of nutrition, and distractions. A short-term solution I could have developed would include prioritizing my time, saying no to some extracurricular events, and finding a quiet place to study. A long-term solution could include finding a one-bedroom apartment or finding roommates who have similar schedules and priorities as I
