The Marin came from Mariana which came from my great Italian grandmother on my Mom’s side. Marin is latin for ocean, both a beautiful yet fearful place. Sometimes I only go in up to my waist, scared the waves will take advantage of me, but when it 's calm, I look for adventure with a snorkel. It 's the kind of name everyone thinks is so unique which makes me feel special. At home Marin turns into Mini which feels like warm soup on a rainy day.
