Lupa was intimidated by Inferna. She was 18, from the Bay Area. She moved to New York over the summer, and just like Lupa, entering her senior year. Inferna was held back in school. She has a way of causing destruction everywhere she goes, figuratively as well as literally. Inferna knew her way with fire. She was fire, in every sense of the word. Lupa loved it all. Lupa knew what it felt like to be burned, but not like this. Never like this. But when he met Inferna, he wanted to be burned by her. All he needed was a taste, a mere glimpse of the adventure that she carries with her. Lupa had an idea of the destruction Inferna tends to cause, but not the whole picture. Perhaps she was hiding it in that big Birkin bag attached to her forearm. Inferna had a lot of secrets. She’s gotten so caught up in the lies she told and she can’t seem to find a way out. The pair turned around simultaneously, and Lupa began to wrestle the device out of his hands. The small confrontation quickly became a full blown fight, the man was of an upper weight class and had the clear advantage. In an attempt to save her friend, Inferna released the flames from under her nails again. But the man ran away, and when the smoke cleared, all that remained were ashes.
