The company I choose to analyze is DICK’S Sporting Goods Inc. I’ve shopped at DICK’S Sporting Goods since I was young. Considering I played sports growing up, I would frequently shop at DICK’S Sporting Goods to buy the gear and equipment that I needed. Currently, I enjoy golfing. I am a frequent customer at Golf Galaxy, which is owned by DICK’S Sporting Goods, looking for clubs and apparel. Being a Pittsburgh sports fan, I purchase fan gear as well as everyday clothing items there too. DICK’S Sporting Goods offers a wide variety of gear and accessories that fits my passion for sports. In 1999, the name was changed to its current name of DICK’S Sporting Goods Inc. Throughout the years, Dick expanded his store to sell clothing, sports, and outdoor equipment, and footwear. DICK’S Sporting Goods Headquarters’ is located Coraopolis, PA. Currently, DICK’S Sporting Goods has 730 store locations throughout the U.S. Notably, California has the most store locations in the U.S with 58.
