In John Steinbeck’s novel “Of Mice and Men” two men are trying to find a temporary job so that they can move out to a little farm by themselves.They stay at a ranch for a while to work and save enough money so they are able to move out to the ranch, but then Lennie strangles and kills one of the ranch-workers wifes. Lennie runs away from the ranch so they can’t find him and George winds up having to kill Lennie, himself.
