The two-part pricing method occurs which the price of the product is composed of two different parts which consist of a lump-sum fee and per unit charge. The lump-sum fee is fixed and in the example of Sam’s and Costco it would their access fee or membership fee. The per-unit charge is variable which means it could change depending on the demand of the market during the various sales seasons. For stores like Costco and Sam’s the demand for their products are typically higher doing the holiday season thus their pricing per unit would reflect that change in demand.
When he woke back up, Sam looked for his wife and determined she was dead by checking her pulse. He ran down the stairs and saw the intruder running out of the house, and he chased him to the shore of his lake, where he was knocked out again. He said we went to his house and checked on his wife when he woke again, then called the mayor. The mayor's wife, Esther, checked the upstairs bedroom and saw that Sam's drawers in his desk were taken out and the contents of his medical bag were spread out on the floor. Esther saw bloodstains on the bedroom's walls, floor, and bedspread, with a pool of blood around Sam's wife Marilyn's body.

In my piece, the silhouette of the couple standing on the shore represents Zora Hurston, drawn with her infamous slanted hat and parts of her hair showing from a back view, and Arthur Price holding her hand. I also wanted to draw Hurston to represent Janie and Price to represent Tea Cake using the psychoanalytic lens. Alfred Hitchcock is remembered as the "master of suspense", most notably in one of his cinemas, "Psycho". Hitchcock used a variety of sensory details, to shock moreover frighten his audience. Three sensory details that he used, is when we notice a cop following Marion, we see that Norman is stalking Marion, and when a shadowy figure shows up while Marion is taking a shower. The first sensory detail that creates suspense is when we see the cop following Marion. We believe that the cop recognizes something is up furthermore, is going to assert Marion for stealing the money.

To the unknown eye, Hitchcock has carefully and skillfully used Mise-en-scene to his advantage, causing the audience to feel fear and a sense of caution towards the character of Norman Bates. It isn’t until we reflect back on the scene and notice how intelligently Hitchcock uses the positioning of props and the characters, lighting, camera angle and staging, that we notice how he has added meaning to his characters but has also to the film, creating suspense and fear from one scene to the end of the film. All the characters in the novel American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis, demonstrate the theme of greed at one point. The constant desires for money and power are shown through Patrick Bateman’s power dominance of women during sexual intercourse. Although he paid the women money, but he forced them to the point that it is abuse. This greed is especially shown as he is trying obtain power through his rape of women.

Williams seems to have taken the ideals of Freud to build his characters in Freudian molds. Psychoanalytic ideas are revealed through the actions of the three main characters as Stanley is the Id, Stella as the Ego, and Blanche as the Superego. Creating an understanding of each individual as they pertain to a psychological approach, reveals the reasons they had for acting the way they did throughout the play. The first of the three psyche components are the id, or someone 's instincts to their personality.
However, film critic, Robin Wood, argues that ‘since Psycho, the Hollywood cinema has implicitly recognised horror as both American and familial’ he then goes on to connect this with Psycho by claiming that it is an “innovative and influential film because it supposedly presents its horror not as the produce of forces outside American society, bit a product of the patriarchal family which is the fundamental institution of American society” he goes on to discuss how our civilisation either represses or oppresses (Skal, 1994). In “Psycho” (1960) it is claimed that the film presents conservative “moral lessons about gender roles of that the strong male is healthy and normal and the sensitive male is a disturbed figure who suffers from gener confusion” (Skal, 1994). According to the Freudian model of the psyche, psychoanalysis is a systematic structure of theories concerning the relation of the conscious mind and the unconscious mind by examining psychological process such as impulses, anxieties and internal conflicts. This model consists of three subcategories; the id, the ego, and the super-ego, all of which are evident in Arthur Miller’s play, The Crucible. Symbolism is an exceptional way to entice the viewer as it creates suspense and makes it better to understand the film. Alfred uses paintings as a symbol, which can be seen in multiple scenes, to symbolize a certain character in the film to the painting and foreshadow events in the film. This allows the viewer to get more detail on the character’s personality and what is about to happen.
