For this post I want to restrain any bias and focus mainly on each party's core principles and ideologies to complete the best entry, and I will do my best to stick to facts. I know it is hard based on the home you grew up in to equally evaluate both sides without feeling the need to give one side an advantage over the other. If I'm going to be picking apart anything in this, it'll be both parties. It's a skill I believe we should all work to practice and one which will prove useful in our adult lives.
For those who have little knowledge about these parties, I will give a short briefing. The Democratic Party was founded in 1824, and the Republican Party was founded in 1854. The senate leader for the Democrats is Harry Reid, while the Republicans have Mitch McConnell. Yes, they are both parties, and they are part of the government of the United States. I've seen others say 'they both want the best for our country,' but with politicians, they often want what is best for themselves and what benefits their pocketbooks. Something to be aware of.
