If you were to look at a single culture, you would probably find so many differences between this culture and the one you consider yourself to be. Now if you consider that group only, and look at the individuals within it, would you find similarities across the board or would you find variation between people? The odds are that you would not find similarities across the board due to many different reasons. In order to illustrate this we will look at individuals within the African American culture as well as the culture in general to see if they are similar or if they are completely off based. She also says that since there was only her and her two sisters, they were all really close and acted like best friends to each other. As they grew up, they became gained more responsibilities over each other, but now that they are all adults again it has balanced back out.
When asked about marriage, she explained that there was no official age where she needed to get married by, but predicted to be married around 25 and that her family would be fine with her marrying out of her culture. Overall the responses I received about marriage were very laid back in that they family seemed open to any suitor and more modern on concepts like living with significant other before marriage.
Overall, Camille Hendry seems to be a typical American whose family is open to her dictating her own life and is mostly there for moral support if she needs it.
