The Outsiders book/movie The Book was made by S.E Hinton in 1967. After the book was made, they made a movie of the Book to show the characters appearance and events, but some parts in the movie were not the same in the book. Cause maybe they didn’t want to copy the whole book. The book and the movie are the same but if it's for details go for the book. If it's for character appearance and events go for the movie. Moving on to the characters and events, we have Johnny, ponyboy, sodapop, Dally, Darry, Bob, Cherry and many more. The movie is good. They chose the right actors. The book/movie shows loss of innocence Cause they were just friendly in the beginning and at the end it was just violence and two of the greasers died. The movie is a good adaptation to the book because it showed the things that were happening. And like it matched the details in the book. I like the movie more than the book because I can see what's going on instead of just imagining it while reading. But the book is also good because it tells the details.
