The Archeological findings of Qin Shihuangdi’s Funeral Complex and the Terra Cotta Army In the mountains of Shaanxi, China, farmers came across one of the most significant archeological findings of all time. Dear Emperor Qin I think building the Great Wall was a very bad idea. The Great Wall is a wall built to protect the citizens. Some people want the Great Wall to be there but, I don't think it is a good idea. They are wrong because a lot of people died and a lot of other things happened.
When most people think of China they might think about the Great Wall Of China, but what they do not know is all the problems China had to build and protect it. The Xiongnu kept invading the Han in 206 BC so the Han decided to build a wall which is now called The Great Wall Of China. In my essay I will be discussing how the Great Wall was not worth the cost because of the high mortality rate, the time and the harsh working conditions, and the continuous tribute paid to the Xiongnu. The first reason the cost did outweigh the benefits is because of high mortality. Many people died in Ancient China when building the wall.

Warfare was the most predominant threat that faced the Plains Indians which occured from the expanding American economy and the scarcity of horses. Knowing they would die, some Indians released their horses in the winter season and would collect survivors in the spring. The Crees and Assiniboines saw their horse population diminishing so they started to rely on the raids of neighboring villages to provide them with horses. Warfare also led to the overall decline of bison. Because bison were scarce, formerly allied tribes fought for resources.

Walking up to the magnificent La Pedrera building the first thing I had to see was the pillar known as the elephant's foot. This pillar is notorious and was mentioned in the reading due it occupying too much space on the sidewalk of Passeig de Gracia. During construction Gaudi was informed of this by the government and told to make modifications, but Gaudi wouldn't budge. He wrote a letter back to the government and stated that if he were to modify the pillar, he would include a mocking inscription that would be-little the government. Fortunately the government rethought their demands and the pillar wasn't changed but this small aspect of the construction process I find awesome.

With so many factors affecting the process, Architects find it difficult to explain the nature of their professional activities and their deliverables for successful project (Bali, 2009).
