Feminism has evolved in recent years because the definition has shifted, there are several types of feminism, and now men are included. It's a belief and now it's becoming into a movement. Feminism is an important topic right now because women are getting together to fight for their rights, to fight for equality. People are becoming more involved by making campaigns and speaking out. There are a few campaigns about feminism. Feminism will keep evolving, is important to women and even men. It is the belief to us all, have the same rights. Feminism and feminist are terms that first appeared in France and Netherlands in 1872, Great Britain in 1890s and in the United States in 1910. Some are more strong than others. The different types include Liberal feminism, Radical feminism, Socialist feminism, Cultural feminism, and Eco-feminism. In Liberal feminism, the primary goal is gender equality. Women want what men want, which is an education and make a decent living. Radical feminism is more into it than the others. Radical feminism is a philosophy emphasizing the patriarchal roots of inequality between men and women. This group see the oppression of women as the most fundamental oppression. This movement intents to see a change in society. That change being that the people treat each other with equal rights. Socialist feminism focuses on economics and politics. It argues that men are the one that right now have the power and money, and women don't. It also argues that capitalism supports and strengthens men. Eco-feminism is a type of feminism more spiritual and theoretical in nature. It focuses on the environment. The different types of feminism of course, keeps and supports the same idea. Being feminist is about wanting everybody to have equal rights, so that includes men. Not many men are encouraged to be feminist. That's because they see feminist as a term or belief that only applies to women. They think feminism is about women having the power and the rights. Men are now being invited to be feminist and be in campaigns. In Hillary Clinton's speech about feminism very few were men. That was disappointing. For feminism to happen, everyone needs to participate and be involved. Men are also judged by society. They judge themselves and others judge too. Women are judged more harshly but men are judged too. A men is judged when he doesn't seems manly enough, by color of skin, and intentions. So, men can be feminist. They can fight for equality, for freedom and be seen for the content of their character like women are
