The definition of racism is the belief that all members of each race have characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to other races. According to a stop racism website Racism has been around for centuries and is still very much alive today. There are three different of types of racism. The first type is open racism, like the KKK (Klu Klux Klan). who are known for their outfit. The second type is violent racism. This type of racism is when one races stats attacking another because they think they are better than them. For example, when the whites in South African believed they were superior to the blacks and started the apartheid era. When Nelson Mandela and the ANC tried to put a stop to it the government responded violently and killed over 60 people from the ANC organization and some people that supported the ANC. The final ty0pe of racsim is secret racism. Secret racism is when you are actually a racist but you try to hide it. These are all different types of racism but they all promote the same meaning, racism, which is offensive to everyone. ' ' I am trying to prove that racism is still a problem in our society. In my opinion colour should not matter. Whether we are black, white, pink or green we should all be treated equally because we are all human.
