In 1930 prejudices against African American people were extremely harsh. African Americans could not walk the streets without getting racial slurs yelled at them. Africans were highly discriminated against. Even though all of their rights to have Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. They were treated like they meant nothing in the world. Over the years things started to change it was less of hatred and more acceptance.

The 1930’s also known as the Great Depression. Business in the 1930’s sure wasn't “boomin”. The average salary of a person was $1300.00 dollars which now would be $18,247.77. That wasn't the only problem. There were also harsh Black segregations. Black people were verbally segregated against. Walking the streets to their jobs the would be called several verbal slurs. White people would even go out of their way to even say a slur to a African American person, even to go all the way to their homes just to make a African American to feel bad about themselves. In 1930 a Black person in government was completely unheard of. But for 8 years in the 20th century a African American man was the president of the United States of America. The 5th most subscribed Youtube channel is run by a African American. Even though there are still people that have prejudices against Black people it is certainly less that it was in 1930. One example is that in 2017 a African American person can easily walk the streets without getting one racial slur even thought about them. Another example is some Black people have the most money in the entire world. While working in jobs such as rappers, business owners, and even the president.
