Discrimination has been around for centuries and is still a big problem in our world today. People are discriminated about their religion, gender, race, etc. Over the years it has gotten a lot better, but it's still a big issue today. To fight against discrimination we need to stand up for all those who are discriminated against. We need to help each other out and In the short story "Desiree's Baby" Desiree is discriminated against because her baby is bi-racial and her husband Armand thinks she is not fully white. Because of this, Armand tells Desiree to leave and she goes back to her mother. Armand was racially discriminating Desiree because of what he assumed was her race, he was supposed to lover and care for her but her possible nationality
