Audrey Hepburn once said, "Everything I learned I learned from the movies." Films have been created by many studios for many years now, including the Walt Disney Studios. This studio was founded on October 16, 1923, by Walt Disney and his brother Roy O. In the beginning of the Walt Disney Studio, short films were created and eventually led up to the famous full length films. Snow White and the Seven Dwarves was the first Disney movie released on February 4, 1938. Throughout the long list of Disney movies, Lilo and Stitch, Cinderella, and Beauty and the Beast are by far the top three movies for children to learn important life lessons. Lastly, the movie Beauty and the Beast is about a girl who falls in love with a beast that only she can see the good in. In the beginning of the movie, the beast was an ordinary man who judged people based on their looks and did not think twice about it until one special enchantress knocked on his door. The enchantress was disguised as an old lady looking for shelter to see how good his heart was. When the man talked to her rudely and did not help her, she cursed him and everyone inside the castle, telling him that he must get someone to love him before the petals of a magical rose fell off. This scene teaches children the importance of treating everyone equal and that one will not live a happy life without showing kindness. Belle on the other hand, is a kind, smart girl who is not like most of the people in the town she lives in. First of all she spends most of her time reading books, and does not find Gaston irresistible like most girls. Secondly, she believes in her father who attempts to create machines to help out with their everyday lives, and encourages him to keep trying. With these traits that differ from the town 's, it shows people that it is okay to be different no matter what people may say. The character Belle also shows an important way to live when she interacts with the beast. When Belle first saw the beast, she was a little frightened by his appearance, but did not let that stop her from getting to know the man under the beast. After living with the beast for a while, she was able to bring goodness out from the beast and fell in love with him; therefore, breaking the curse revealing the man he was before. This movie is mainly based on the saying to not judge a book by its cover, and has excellent ways of showing what happens when someone can get past one 's appearance to be able to know the person on the inside, consequently this movie is ranked number one out of all the Disney
