I think people write poetry because they want to seem different and deep. they chose to write poetry over writing a book because poetry can be taken different ways. I truly did not like the poetry unit. But I'm sure you already know that from my past answers. Poetry to me is complicated and unnecessary. And I don't understand the need for it. Or even what it taught us. What was challenging for you during the poetry unit? Needing to write so much. I am simple and think in simple ways. Every thing have written in this class was needlessly drawn out and over complicated. I could answer every question on this test in one to two sentences and anybody could read it and understand it just fine. Just like this question that I'm drawing out right now just to have the minimum amount of sentences to be graded. What would YOU do differently if you were to redo the unit? If I were to redo this unit I would most likely do the exact same thing. Im sure my poems could have been better through your eyes but to me any poem I could write would not be good to me. I do not enjoy poetry and don't understand what is supposed to be achieved in writing it. So I'm not good at it. Most of my poems were just very drawn out because I had nothing else to say about what we were writing
