For instance, Criminal Minds has had cases where the serial killers have been diagnosed with a mental illness. In addition, environment can be what religion your parents make you become. Consider, Ed Gein's mother was a very religious mother, and their childhood would be all about his mother's, “puritanical preaching about the sense of loss and carnal desire”. (Biography.com editors.). In result of him sticking to his mother’s strong religious beliefs, Ed Gein would dig out female bodies out of graves , and cut off their body parts. A religion can make a mental person even more delusional than their mental illness already is. To end upcoming serial killer’s from believing in such religions,they should go to a church group that can guide them,and help them decide if the religion they chose is right for them. I am not saying that if your parents are very religious you will become a serial killer.
