What makes someone special? What about you is unique? How do you stand out from a crowd? For me, I was adopted from China. My sister, Mina, and I are both adopted from China. This represents my family because 7 people in my family including my sister and me are adopted. First came Mina, then me, Lucas, Desmond, Malcolm, and finally Bennett and Liam. Most of us were adopted as newborns but Mina and I were adopted as toddlers. I was abandoned at a police station station somewhere in Guiyang City, Guizhou, China. Which means you legally give your child to another family. And international adoptions are which an individual or couple becomes the legal and permanent parent(s) of a child who is national of a different country. International adoption is most usually not legal of the birth parents. (They most likely abandoned them). Their reason to adopt was because they did not want to have children themselves and Heather had medication difficulties. Desmond was adopted from Columbus Ohio as a newborn, and Malcolm was adopted from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Des’ birth father had passed away and had the birth mother had other children already.
