Don Tolliver, a single father was accused of shooting his girlfriend in 2011 while his children was upstairs asleep, married twice, working 60 to 70 hour work weeks for twelve years the sole provider of four children. No domestic violence in his background, testifying in court, I was afraid of her, they had lived together four months . Sworn afiddavits can prove physical violence patterns of the troubled woman's life, reporting abuse repeatedly in relationships. On December 28, 2011 Don visibly shook at the police station after his arrest, cried I did not shoot her, hospitalized the victim stood in our parents' driveway a short time later, a band-aid on her neck and claiming I did it he was leaving me, I am going to have the charges dropped. …show more content…

He kept a loaded gun in the kitchen drawer for his two young sons to play with.
