Terrifying Trump

Two of the most popular and reliable news sources in the entire world, Business Insider and Forbes, both made lists in 2015 of the most powerful people in the world. Powerful is defined as having influence and control over people and events. In both of these lists, the number one spot goes to The President of The United States of America. Not only is the man who holds this title who our whole country looks to for leadership, but the entire world also has their eyes on him. One of the Republican presidential candidates for the election this November, Donald Trump, is a billionaire real estate tycoon, and everyday it looks more likely that he will receive that nomination. Thus the question presents itself, what are the barriers of effective leadership for Donald Trump? One does not need to look far to find a reason this man shouldn’t be sitting in the Oval Office. He has no experience with dealing with politics let alone foreign affairs, his supporters only like him for his simple and easy to understand rhetoric, his morals are questionable to say the least, and compared to the other candidates and every president in our nation’s history he is by no means qualified for this position. …show more content…

The most obvious being, America is not great today. Our countries president is deemed the most powerful man in the world, our military is unprecedented and our technological advances are second to none – we are the world superpower, it does not get much more “great” than that as a nation.
