In Tartuffe, She Stoops to Conquer, FuenteOvejuna, and the Kibitsu Cauldron, there are expressions of the powerful female figures, who represent different manifestations of female power. Each female figure has positive and negative characteristics about them, but all of them symbolizes the idea of hope and standing up for what is wrong in their society. In the play, Tartuffe, Dorine is the servant, who does not hold her tongue, especially when it is about someone, who is causing madness within the household. Dorine knows how wicked Tartuffe is and how arrogant Organ is for forcing Mariane into marrying Tartuffe. They say women and music should never date (69).” The negative of Kate is she let people walk over her without defending herself because how her father raised her. In the Kibitsu Cauldron, the daughter of Kasada knows her boundaries about speaking out of terms, but she knows when it is very necessary for her to voice her concerns about her
