Your personal reaction to the book?
I thought it was going to be a boring book but once I kept on reading it got interesting. It also got a little mysterious which I love and I had to keep reading. It was a good book I wouldn't say one of my favorites but it was a good book for the romance that a couple got married. The book Dracula was surprising because I expected it to be a little more for teens book but I enjoyed reading it.
2. Your reason for choosing this selection?
I choose this book because I love to read about vampires like Twilight. To me it's really interesting to read about them and I enjoy reading them. They also have mysteri well some do. Also the reason I chose this book was that I never read it so it caught my attention.

And that this lady was going to get married to a man who sold properties and the man went to transylvania to see Dracula and that's where the mystery is. And there is the suspense when the man found out that dracula was some sort of blood drinking monster. Also that the suspense was what was going to happen to the man.
4. Your thoughts on any symbol or motifs used.
My thoughts were that the symbol was love and romance by the cover of the book and it had death which also was shown in the cover. When lucy was murdered for becoming a vampire. Some motifs that were in my thoughts were that why did mina kill dracula when she was in love with him and wanted to be with him not her husband jonathan. And why didn’t mina want to be with jonathan because ahe was in love with him and they married but chose dracula over Jonathan.
5. Your thoughts on the importance of this novel to our society or culture?
I think that the book dracula doesn't have any importance to our society or culture in my opinion because vampires don't exist and there is no proof that they existed or not that i know. It's my opinion I don't know if there was a man named dracula or if there is myth about
