A lot of people have dreams, but do they all have the chance to achieve their dreams the author John Steinbeck. wrote the book of mice and men this book mostly talked about how the characters tried their to achieve their goals,and dream. The three characters that had a big dream, and they couldn’t achieve it were Lennie, George, and crooks.

My old man had a chicken ranch, bout ten acres. The white kids come to play at our place and sometimes i went to play with them, and some of them,and some of them was pretty nice. At least crooks has an excuse to be isolated he is black which, makes him an automatic outcast even if he wanted to reach out and touch someone, he wouldn't be able to. You do think that things like skin color would matter. But somewhere they seem to matter more.

Crooks change his mind all because curley’s wife has robbed him of an hope for the future. Before curley’s wife come into the bunkhouse crooks has started to buy in the idea of group along and chasing the dream that george and lennie have been chasing he is finally feel some hope.
